New food hall opening in Eaton Centre on April 24

A new food emporium in the Eaton Centre featuring up to 16 different cuisines is set to open its doors next week.

Queen’s Cross Food Hall by restauranteurs Oliver & Bonacini will officially be open to the public at 7 a.m. on Wed. April 24.

The 19,000 square foot spot is replacing the closed Richtree Natural Market Restaurants in the south end of the mall.

Chef-driven food stalls, each with a distinct dining concept, will make up most of the space, with two rotating stalls so there is always something new to try. Everything from fresh salads, sandwiches and poke bowls to curry and and shawarmas will be available.

A full list of the stalls opening is available on their website, featuring well-known Toronto stops, Craig’s Cookies and a Pizzeria Libretto slice shop.

There will also be a café serving up coffee and breakfast sandwiches in the morning before turning into a bar in the evenings.

Eaton Centre recently completed a $77 million that included the refurbishment of its galleria skylight roof and the addition of three new staircases in the South Court and Urban Eatery, improvements to elevators, and the installation of a larger cab in an existing elevator to increase accessibility.
