Woman struck by vehicle in Scarborough, taken to hospital with serious injuries

A pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle in Scarborough.

Paramedics were called to the scene at Birchmount Road and Steeles Avenue just after 6 p.m.

The woman was taken to a trauma centre with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver involved remained on scene.
