Man shows up at Toronto hospital with critical gunshot wounds

Toronto police are investigating after a man showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police say it is unclear where the shooting happened, but they were called to the area of Brimley Road and Lawrence Avenue East at 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to police, a man was dropped off at a Toronto hospital but then transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Police tell 680 NewsRadio that they have been unable to speak to the victim.

There’s no word on suspects at this time.
