1 man seriously injured in downtown stabbing, 1 in custody

One man is in custody after another man was stabbed near the waterfront on Tuesday night.

Police say they were called to a building on Queens Wharf Road near Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West just before 9 p.m. for reports someone had been stabbed.

They found a man in his 60s suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a nearby trauma centre in serious condition.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene.

Police say he was also taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
