Man in his 60s pronounced dead after apartment fire on Davenport Road

Toronto Fire Services (TFS) say a man in his 60s has died after being rescued from a devastating apartment fire in the city’s Weston-Pelham Park neighbourhood.
The blaze happened at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Saturday near Davenport Road and Symington Road.
Several fire trucks attended the scene and knocked down the blaze.
TFS says one male victim in his 60s was transported to a hospital in life-threatening condition and later died from his injuries.
No other details were provided.
