Power restored to more than 1,100 homes in Scarborough after Saturday morning outage

More than 1,100 households were without power in Scarborough following an outage early Saturday morning, according to an alert from Toronto Hydro.

The two affected areas were located in the Agincourt neighbourhood along Midland Avenue, between Finch Avenue East and Sheppard Avenue East.

The outages were reported just before 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and the power was restored at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
