Man dies after being shot in Moss Park

A 43-year-old man is dead following a shooting in Moss Park on Wednesday night.

Toronto police were called to Sherbourne and Queen Streets just after 8 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

A male victim was found on the scene with gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he died of his injuries.

He has been identified as Lyle Pounall of Toronto.

Officers are now searching for the suspect or suspects involved, but no further description has been given.

This is the third homicide of the year in Toronto.
