Woman seriously injured after being struck by car in North York

A woman suffered serious injuries after being struck by a driver in North York on Sunday.

Police say they were called to the Finch Avenue and Leslie Street area just after 4:30 p.m. for reports that a pedestrian had been struck.

Paramedics say they transported a woman to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
