Man arrested for publishing child pornography in prostitution investigation

Peel Regional Police have arrested a 24-year-old Toronto man in a prostitution investigation on Wednesday.

Police arrested the man from the area of Ridelle Avenue and Times Road at around 5:30 p.m.

Devante Williams was taken into custody and charged with two counts of procuring a person under the age of 18 years old, two counts of making or publishing child pornography, sexual assault, sexual interference and several other offences.

Williams appeared in court in Brampton on Thursday morning.

Police believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
