Police searching for two men after two armed robberies in York

Toronto police are searching for two male suspects after two armed robberies in York on Sunday.
Officers confirm that a gun was seen at the location of the first robbery and that two men were wearing balaclavas over their faces.
The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. on Davenport Road in the Chinese Market, between Ossington and Alberta Avenues.
Police said the suspects fled in a white four-door vehicle and were headed westbound on Davenport Road.
Approximately 30 minute later police responded to a second armed robbery at 701 Lawrence Avenue West, about 6 kilometers up the road from the first robbery.
Police are searching for two male suspects who were also seen with guns.
The suspects also fled the scene in a white four-door vehicle heading westbound on Lawrence Avenue West.
Police could not confirm at the time if the two robberies were related.
