Man charged in string of North York sex assaults

A 23-year-old Toronto man faces sex assault charges against seven women in North York.
A victim came forward Wednesday just days after investigators made a public appeal, and provided them with more information.
They arrested Nhan Huu Nguyen early Thursday morning, and charged him with eight counts of sexual assault on seven women and two counts of robbery.
Police had originally suspected one man was responsible for attacks on five women in the past couple of months, but later linked two more victims to the case.
They alleged Nguyen would drive around isolated areas near Yonge Street and Finch Avenue late at night and look for women walking alone. He would then park his car, approach them from behind, push them to the ground and sexually assault them.
Investigators believe there may be more victims and have not yet released Nguyen’s photo.
Nguyen is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
