Police were called to a shooting around 6:30pm at a home on Driftwood Avenue on Wednesday. The victim, believed to be in his 20’s, was rushed to hospital, but there’s no word yet on his condition.
The search is still on for the shooter.
Construction Mishap
Part of a 12 storey high crane toppled at a construction site on Ontario Street near Wellesley and Parliament on Wednesday night. No one was hurt, but the Labour Ministry is being called in to investigate.
Fatal Collision
Drunk driving is suspected in a crash that killed a man on Steeles just east of Kipling. A van and pickup truck collided around 9:00pm, leaving the victim dead at the scene.
Another person was rushed to Sunnybrook with serious injuries.
