Report: Valentine to become BoSox manager

The Boston Red Sox have found a new manager in Bobby Valentine, according to reports.
He will succeed Terry Francona who decided to part ways with the Red Sox days in the days following the team’s historic collapse – where they went 7-20 in the final month of the 2011 season.
Valentine last managed in the MLB with the New York Mets from 1996-2002 before heading to Japan to coach the Chiba Lotte Marines of Japan’s Pacific League, where he served as manager from 2004-2009.
