Boy George has been charged after police allege he chained a man to a wall in his London home earlier this year.
The 47-year-old pop singer, whose real name is George O’Dowd, faces a count of false imprisonment. He was released on bail ahead of a court appearance November 22.
The former Culture Club frontman, who’s had run-ins with the law before, was arrested in May after the alleged victim accused him of the crime at the celebrity’s home in London.
Last year Boy George was instructed by a U.S. court to sweep Manhattan streets after cops responded to his call to report a burglary and subsequently found cocaine in his apartment.
