Police haven’t caught the suspect yet, but they’re asking for help in identifying a man caught on surveillance camera moments before another man was shot at a Vaughan plaza last month.
A 38-year-old Toronto man was shot just before 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 at the West End Café at 8099 Weston Rd., near Highway 7. He survived, and has since been released from hospital.
On Friday, York Regional Police released two pictures of the man who was in the café just before the shots rang out.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7441 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
