Toronto police arrest man in Earlscourt Park shooting

Toronto police have charged a man with attempted murder after a shooting at Earlscourt Park earlier this year.
Officers allege the 25-year-old suspect shot a man once in the head and twice in the chest near St. Clair Avenue West and Caledonia Road on Jan. 5.
The man was rushed to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Justin Longshaw, 25, was arrested Sunday. He faces a total of 15 charges, including possession of firearm obtained by the commission of an offence and resisting or obstructing a public or peace officer.
Longshaw made a court appearance on Monday morning.
