COPPELL, Texas (AP) _ The Container Store Group Inc. (TCS) on Tuesday reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $16.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Coppell, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 32 cents per share.
The storage products retailer posted revenue of $151.7 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company’s shares hit $4.27. A year ago, they were trading at $6.43.
