Grains lower, livestock mixed

Grain futures were lower on Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. was fell .052 cent at $5.40 a bushel; Dec. corn was off .03 cent at $3.6060 a bushel; Dec. oats gained .022 cent at $2.8720 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans declined .106 cent at 9.9240 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle was off .002 cent at $1.0790 a pound; Sept. feeder cattle fell .0154 cent $1.4028 a pound; Oct. lean hogs rose .0148 cent at .7238 a pound.
