Woman seriously injured after being struck by vehicle downtown

A woman in her 20’s was seriously injured after she was struck by a vehicle in Toronto’s downtown core on Thursday.

Paramedics said they were called to the scene near Queen Street West and Beverly Street around 2:30 p.m.

The victim was transported to a Toronto trauma centre in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. It is not clear if any charges will be laid at this time.
