It’s No Movie, Aniston and Vaughn Break Up For Real

They broke up on screen – and now they’re doing it for real.

Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have decided to call it quits, their representatives confirmed according to People magazine’s Web site.

“Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today,” said representatives Stephen Huvane and John Pisani, according to the article.

The two stars of The Break-Up, who actually met while making that movie in 2005, decided to end their relationship after 37-year-old Aniston visited Vaughn, 36, in London in October.

The pair’s relationship was frequently scrutinized in the tabloids – over the year-and-a-half that it lasted they first denied they were a couple, then that they were heading toward marriage, and finally that they were breaking up.

In October, Vaughn threatened to sue tabloid publications in the U.S. and Britain over reports that he was breaking up with Aniston and had been seen kissing someone else.

Vaughn, known for his roles in the hits Wedding Crashers and Old School, is currently filming a holiday comedy called Fred Claus.

Aniston, who began the relationship with Vaughn after getting divorced from Brad Pitt, first achieved fame in the sitcom Friends, but has since made the transition to feature films. Aside from The Break-Up she recently appeared in the dark comedy Friends With Money.
