Cops Probe Fatal Mishap

The O.P.P. are investigating an accident in Caledon that claimed the life of a 49-year-old Mississauga man Thursday. Police believe he lost control of his car around 10:30am while driving northbound on Airport Road near Patterson Side Road. He crossed the centre line and hit an on-coming flatbed truck.

The victim was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Police closed Airport Road between Patterson Side Road and Old Church Road and expected it to stay that way for some time.
