Man Accused Of Drugging, Then Sexually Assaulting Woman

A Toronto man has been accused of allegedly drugging and then sexually assaulting a woman he met online and police say they have reason to believe there may be more victims out there.

The 36-year-old suspect and his alleged victim contacted each other online between December 2007 and this month via a dating website, according to police.

They decided to meet each other in a public place last Thursday and later went to the man’s apartment where authorities allege he put a drug in the woman’s glass of wine, rendering her unconscious. That’s when he sexually assaulted her, cops claim.

Jimmy Jorgge is charged with sexual assault and administering drugs for sex. He was scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.

Police think there may be other victims out there and are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact the Sex Crimes Unit at (416) 808-7400 or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS.
