The man who killed three children in a high speed drunk driving collision in May 2025 has been sentenced to eight years minus time served. As Erica Natividad reports, the family of the victims say they wanted triple the time sentenced.

A fire is burning at an apartment highrise in Toronto's Thorncliffe neighbourhood. It's in the same area of the same building where residents were forced out for weeks in December 2025.

Toronto Fire Chief Jim Jessop said crews are working on putting out a three-alarm fire at 11 Thorncliffe Park Dr., which was the site of a weeks-long fire that displaced hundreds of residents in 2025.
