Police Seize $5.26M In Marijuana Plants From Uxbridge Grow Op

An overnight raid on a grow op in Uxbridge turned up thousands of plants worth an estimated $5.26 million.
At about 1am, the drug squad entered a business on Victoria St. and discovered a highly sophisticated marijuana operation in the rear of the building. It included more than 3,700 plants, five pounds of dried marijuana and $4,300 in cash.
Police arrested two Toronto men, 53-year-old Doug Robertson of St. Dennis Dr. and 42-year-old Manoli Mbermberakis of Centennial Rd. and charged them with production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both were being held pending a bail hearing.
