Stolen Truck Found, But Trailer Carrying Zoo Animals Is Still Missing

A stolen Ford truck attached to a trailer carrying a tiger and two camels has been found, but there’s still no sign of the missing animals.
Quebec provincial police say the truck was found abandoned this morning near a church in central Quebec.
Police are worried the thieves left the trailer in an empty lot once they realized it contained the animals.
The truck and trailer were stolen Friday from a motel parking lot 70 kilometres east of Montreal.
The animals were being transported from a touring circus in Nova Scotia to a Toronto-area zoo.
The zoo handlers are worried the animals could die without fresh air, food and water. The trailer is metallic grey with Ontario licence plates.
