Problems Continue On SRT

Stop me if you’ve heard this one: There were problems on the Scarborough RT during the Friday morning rush.

The route was shut down just before 10pm on Thursday and remained closed until Friday morning.

And once the system was up and running, passengers were told to expect delays because fewer trains than usual were on the tracks.

TTC transit reporter Kevin Carrington warned the commute will take an extra 15 to 30 minutes.

The reduced service was due to repairs.

The TTC brought in 10 shuttle buses to help transport passengers from McCowan to Kennedy station.
