Toronto Police are searching for a driver they say fled after hitting a pedestrian overnight.
It happened around 12am Sunday at Kingston Road and Kalmar Avenue, east of Warden. A 51-year-old woman was crossing Kingston Road from the north side to the south side when she was allegedly struck by a car that was heading east in the passing lane.
Sergeant Tim Burrows of Traffic Services described the suspect vehicle as a dark-coloured small SUV.
Kingston Road was closed in the area for the investigation.
