Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In North York

A 42-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car last week in North York.
Shortly before 9pm Thursday, the woman was walking in a marked crosswalk on Doris Avenue, south of Hollywood, when she was struck by a Nissan SUV traveling south.
Police say the 40-year-old driver hit the victim on his passenger side and dragged her a short distance before she fell to the curb.
She had no vital signs when paramedics arrived, but they managed to revive her for the emergency run to hospital. She was there until she died on Monday of her injuries.
