Consider this a warning if you plan on venturing off the beaten path in High Park anytime soon.
A new sculpture has sprung up deep in the park’s wilderness and it’s quite frankly, terrifying.
Sleepless nights would likely follow for anyone who may randomly stumble across this monstrosity while on a casual stroll through the park.
A Facebook group call Weird Toronto was the first to post a picture of the strange statue.
The sculpture resembles something out of a horror movie or season one of True Detective. It features a body made out of moss, arms outstretched, a head with horns and what looks to be some kind of crown.
If you want to check it out for yourself it is located near the Colborne Lodge, although it may take some exploring, according to other park goers it isn’t visible from any of the parks main paths.
