York Region Police are on the hunt for a 32-year-old man wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Richmond Hill.
The suspect is identified as David Des Lauries. He’s wanted for attempted murder and forcible entry.
Des Lauries allegedly broke into an Elgin Mills Road home around 8pm Tuesday after a 33-year-old male victim answered his front door. Des Lauries allegedly forced his way into the home armed with a baseball bat and struck the victim several times in the head.

Passing motorists stopped to help the victim at which time the suspect fled the scene.
The victim was transported to hospital with severe but non-life threatening injuries.
Des Lauries was supposedly seen driving a 1994 red Saturn four-door with Ontario licence plate BDPB 265.
