Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach charged with assault

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Police said Canadian rock singer Sebastian Bach has been charged with assault after an incident early Monday at a bar in Peterborough, Ont.

Sgt. Walter DiClemente said the former Skid Row frontman was at Riley’s Old Towne Pub with several friends when there was a dispute and he was asked to leave shortly after midnight.

Police allege Bach, 42, smashed a wine glass against the front doors when he was told he could not take it with him, and was physically detained by bar staff.

It’s alleged there was a struggle and that a staff member was bitten on the hand.

Police said that when Bach was searched, officers found a small amount of marijuana.

The resident of Lincroft, N.J., whose real name is Sebastian Bierk, is due in court today to face charges of assault, possession of a controlled substance and mischief under $5,000.
