Robertson says he’s committed to transparent riot review

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson says he’s committed to a transparent riot review, and that includes handing over any internal city data.
Robertson says city staff want transparency.
“There’s a committment to transparency here that runs through the city organization,” he says. “We’re all about being transparent and accountable here and we want to support the independent review team with all of that information.”
The riot review, headed by Nova Scotia crisis management expert Doug Keefe and former VANOC chair John Furlong and will include accounts from the city, police and the province. It’s due at the end of August.
