Father of 3 wins $12,500 weather guarantee jackpot

TORONTO, Ont. – It’s a great day for one 680News listener.
We missed the weather guarantee on Tuesday, so we gave away the $12,500-jackpot, Wednesday. The temperature at Pearson International Airport stayed at only 1C, but it reached 5 C in Oakville.
Alfred Bonello, of Woodbridge, Ont., — a father of three children — was the lucky winner.
“I never won nothing like this in my life,” Bonello told 680News. “A monetary prize of this amount, I’ve never won it, I never expected it, but it comes at a great time with Christmas around the corner.”
He added that his wife, Anna, his son and two daughters can expect some very nice things for Christmas.
Bonello also said he’s grateful to 680News. He’s been a member of the Insider Club for around two years, and said it really pays off.
The last time 680News gave away cash for our weather guarantee was on July 29, when we awarded $2,000.
