Man, woman face charges after gun, drugs seized

TORONTO, Ont. – A man and woman are facing 17 charges after a loaded handgun, drugs and bulletproof vest were seized during a search in the city’s west end.
A man, Akeem Bailey, and woman, Audrianna Ivy, both 22, had a series of charges laid against them after the Gun and Gang Task Force and the Emergency Task Force executed a search warrant at an address on Albion Road.
A quantity of drugs, drug paraphernalia, a loaded 9mm handgun, a quantity of ammunition and a bulletproof vest were seized by police around 11:40 p.m. on Sunday night.
Both accused were scheduled to appear in court Monday.
