3 GTA cities score high in municipal services survey

TORONTO, Ont. – Three cities in the Greater Toronto Area have made the top 10 list of the best cities in Canada for resident satisfaction with municipal services.
The survey, which was conducted by Forum Research Inc., polled around 12,000 residents across Canada’s 30 largest cities on services like road maintenance and taxes.
Mississauga, Ont., was ranked third, while Oakville and Burlington ranked fifth and sixth, respectively. Overall, Quebec City, Que., ranked first.
Top 10 municipalities overall are:

- Burnaby, B.C.
- Mississauga, Ont.
- Sherbrooke, Que.
- Oakville, Ont.
- Burlington, Ont.
- Laval, Que.
- Markham, Ont.
- Longueuil, Que.
- Richmond Hill, Ont.
