Police make second arrest in connection with 2011 homicide

TORONTO, Ont. – After searching for more than a year, Toronto police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a 2011 murder.

John Kang was shot to death in a parking lot in the Victoria Park and Finch Avenue area on May 26, 2011.

Shortly after the killing, police released surveillance video and photos of two suspects in the case.

20-year-old Raphael Okezie was arrested and charged with first-degree murder last July.

19-year-old Henok Mebratu was arrested Thursday by the guns and gangs unit.  He has been charged with first-degree murder.
