Pedestrian struck, sent to hospital after being struck in the east end

TORONTO- A 30-year old man has been sent to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in the east end.

Police said the collision occurred around 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the intersection of Victoria Park Ave. and Sunrise Ave., near Eglinton Ave. E.

Police said the pedestrian is conscious and breathing.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and co-operated with police.

The intersection of the Victoria Park Ave. and Sunrise Ave. has reopened after an earlier closure.
