Man, 38, dead after early-morning weekend shooting in Brampton

A 38-year-old man from Maple, Ont., is dead after an early-morning shooting in Brampton on Sunday.
Police say they received several calls about shots being fired in an industrial area on Advance Boulevard, near Steeles Avenue East and Bramalea Road just after 4 a.m.
When they arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was taken to a trauma centre where he later died of his injuries.
No further details have been released as to what may have led up to the shooting.
Police have yet to release any suspect information except to say that several vehicles were seen fleeing the parking lot area of a restaurant in the industrial complex.
Police are asking anyone who have surveillance or dashcam video that may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after shooting to contact them.
