Montreal man wanted in human trafficking investigation: Niagara police

Niagara police are appealing for the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection to a human trafficking investigation.
In June of this year, police say they launched an investigation into the trafficking of a woman throughout Niagara Falls.
On Saturday, a man and woman were arrested in relation to the investigation, police say, adding the department identified a third suspect wanted in connection to the case.
Police say 25-year-old Wolff Cadelis of Montreal is wanted for several charges, including financial material benefit/ trafficking person over 18, advertising another person’s sexual services, trafficking in persons by exercising control, material benefit from sexual services, and procuring/ exercising control.
21-year-old Hakim Varela and 21-year-old Maha Tlemcani, both from Brossard, Quebec, have been arrested and are facing similar charges, police say.
Officers say both Varela and Tlemcani have been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Hamilton.
Anyone who has information about the investigation and the whereabouts of Wolff Cadelis is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
