Man seriously injured in underground garage fight

One man has suffered serious injuries following an altercation in the downtown core on Thursday.

Police say they were called to a building in the area of Bathurst and Front streets just before 1 p.m. following reports two men were fighting in the underground parking garage.

When they arrived they found an adult male suffering from injuries.

Paramedics say the man was transported to a nearby hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition. The extent of his injuries are unknown.

Police have not released any further details, including a possible suspect description
