A 19-year-old man is dead, and two others are injured after a single-vehicle crash in Toronto’s northeast end.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Sewells Road in Scarborough, along the border with Markham.

Investigators say a 2017 black Jaguar F-Pace was driving westbound on Steeles Avenue East when the driver lost control and struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to roll several times.

Police say a 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The cause of the crash is not yet known, but police are investigating whether speed was a factor.
