Man, 23, dead in suspected targeted shooting in Hamilton: police

A 23-year-old man is dead in what investigators believe was a targeted shooting in Hamilton.
Police were called to the scene on Morris Avenue, near King Street and Dunsmure Road in the Crown Point West neighbourhood, just after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
When they arrived, they found the victim laying in the middle of the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have since identified the victim as Everton Frost from Hamilton.

Investigators are looking into the circumstances that led to Everton’s death and haven’t released any information about suspects at this time.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or may have surveillance footage of the surrounding area between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday to contact them.
