Woman dead, others in hospital after multi-vehicle crash in Brampton

One woman has died, and others are in hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police were called to the Torbram Road and Balmoral Drive area in the city’s east end at 7:30 p.m. for reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Investigators said two adults, a man and a woman, were taken to a local hospital and are in stable condition. Two other adults, also confirmed to be a man and a woman, were rushed to a trauma centre.
A woman later died from her injuries, police confirmed. The man’s condition is unknown.
The Major Collision Bureau will attend the scene, and the intersection will be closed for the duration of the investigation.
Police are urging motorists to use alternate routes.
