2 drivers arrested after street race injures 3 people in Etobicoke: police

Toronto police say two drivers have been arrested following a street racing incident in Etobicoke late Thursday night.

Police sources tell CityNews two drivers were racing each other westbound on The Westway just after 7 p.m. when they struck two other vehicles near Martin Grove Road.

Three people were treated for minor injuries, including one of the alleged street racers.

People have not detailed the charges the two drivers will be facing.

Police say it is lucky no one was killed or severely injured in the crash.
