Pedestrian struck by dump truck in downtown Toronto

Police are investigating after a man was struck by a dump truck in downtown Toronto.

Officers responded to the intersection of Richmond Street and Spadina Avenue for reports of a collision around 10:48 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say someone was hit by a dump truck. The driver of the truck remained at the scene.

A man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Motorists are being advised to expect delays in the area.
