Suspected impaired driver crashes through Brampton backyards

Peel Regional Police say a man has been charged with impaired driving after video captured a vehicle crashing through several backyards in Brampton on Monday night.
The video, which Const. Donna Carlson called “alarming” shows the vehicle crashing through at least three fences.
“It was a good thing that nobody was in their backyards,” Carlson noted.
Police say it happened just before 7 p.m. in the Great Lakes Boulevard and Demaris Drive area.

After crashing through the fences, the vehicle came to a stop in one of the backyards.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was arrested and charged with impaired operation.
