Man in life-threatening condition after being pinned between taxi, building

A man in his 50s has life-threatening injuries after he was pinned between a vehicle and a building in the Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street East area on Monday evening.

Police say it happened at around 7:14 p.m. when a 59-year-old man got out of his car in a narrow laneway before the car was set in motion and pinned him against a wall.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone who was in the area, or anyone who may have security or dash cam footage, to contact them.
