OMD cancels shows after drummer falls ill in Toronto

The 1980s synth-pop band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) has cancelled the remainder of their tour for the year after their drummer became ill during a show in Toronto.
The band cut short their concert at the Danforth Music Hall after Malcolm Holmes appeared to be suffering a medical emergency.
According to the band’s website, Holmes was taken to hospital and treated for heat exhaustion but is recovering well.
In 2004 Holmes left the band after sufered a major heart attack. He rejoined them in 2006.
