Mayor Ford calls for byelection to replace Doug Holyday at Ward 3

Toronto city council is debating how to replace former Ward 3 councillor Doug Holyday, who left municipal politics to become the MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore. Councillors will consider whether to replace Holyday by appointment or byelection. Mayor Rob Ford moved a motion asking for support for a byelection.
