Hamilton detectives identify city’s 5th homicide victim of 2016

A 43-year-old man has been identified as Hamilton’s fifth homicide of 2016.
Detectives were called in late Friday afternoon after Hamilton police officers responded to a 911 call at a local residence and found a man suffering from obvious injuries.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before he was taken to Hamilton General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have identified the man as Joseph Colson. Cause of death has not yet been released.
The investigation is continuing
